Balanced Scorecards

Bashariyah Jeddah Chapter invites you on June 23, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. at the Saudi German Hospital to attend a presentation titled “Balanced Scorecards” (in Arabic) by Dr. Mohammad Mustafa Mahmoud.

The presentation describes a practical experience of developing an accelerated process to build competency profiles for hundreds of top and middle management staff in a public sector organization. A combination of assessment tools was used to build a database which was navigated with smart queries to identify the best candidates for new positions following a major restructuring.

Dr. Mohammad Mustafa Mahmoud

Dr. Mahmoud is the Vice President Human Resources Development of the Savola Group. He served the HRD & OD Mayor Advisor in the City of Jeddah and likewise held the position of Academic Unit Head in the Institute of Banking Studies in Kuwait.

His educational accomplishments includes the following:

  • Ph. D. in Business Administration (Management Science), University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, U.S.A. December 1984.
  • M.S.  in Civil Engineering  (Transportation Science), University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, U.S.A. August 1984
  • M.A. in Regional Sciences, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, U.S.A. August 1982
  • Master of Business Administration (Operation Management), University of Mansoura, Egypt, October 1978
  • Bachelor of Commerce, University of Mansoura, Egypt, May 1976. Excellent with Honors Degree, First of Class
